Bunts-A Socio-Culturalt Study

This book presents the English version of Dr. Indira Hegde’s book on Bunts, a community from Tulunadu. Dr. Hegde has done extensive field study and has collected material from various sources to write her book. It is a socio-cultural study of the Bunt community. Scholars have recognised her book as an authentic presentation of the community. Dr. Shankara Poojary has rendered the English version of Dr. Hegde’s book. He took pains to travel from Goa to Bangalore to oversee the proof reading of the work. I thank him for his effort.
